AntiAging Institute of California Now Offers DON’T PAUSE for Natural Menopause Relief (amazon) (shopzilla)

Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) August 09, 2013

The AntiAging Institute of California now offers DONT PAUSE to provide women with natural menopause relief. DONT PAUSE is an all-natural herbal supplement that can help combat some of the most common menopause symptoms and restore healthy balance and aging.

Hormones often fluctuate slightly throughout a womans lifetime. She may experience dramatic surges of hormones during puberty and fluctuations during menstruation and pregnancy. These hormonal fluctuations can trigger symptoms of bloating, irritability and physical discomfort. As menopause nears, hormones begin to fluctuate and decrease as the ovaries cease functioning. Women may experience symptoms similar to those they experienced during pregnancy or their menstrual cycles, and they may have additional new symptoms.

Irregular periods, bloating, breast tenderness and irritability are all common during menopause. Women also frequently experience hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, urinary incontinence, aching joints, weight gain around the abdomen and fatigue. These symptoms can be severe and interfere with a womans normal daily activities. A natural menopause treatment product can help alleviate the discomfort and help women get back to their favorite activities without discomfort.

Herbal menopause cure products can include ingredients such as black cohosh and soy isoflavones, which specifically target the underlying cause of menopause symptoms by restoring a healthier balance of hormones. Both black cohosh and soy isoflavones have been studied extensively and shown to help decrease the incidence and severity of hot flashes and similar symptoms. Other ingredients that can provide natural menopause relief include pomegranate, green tea extract, and DHEA. These ingredients target hot flashes and other symptoms and often work together to help restore energy, decrease fat storage and promotes overall health.

Women often turn to natural menopause remedy products to help alleviate their discomfort. Lifestyle changes can also provide women with relief from menopause symptoms. Regular weight-baring exercise can help them keep their bones strong and their waistlines trim. Stretching exercises such as yoga or Pilates can help relieve tension and maintain flexibility. A healthy diet with fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, heart healthy fats and low-fat dairy can provide a womans body with the nutrients it needs.

Menopause Doctor Changes Perspective of 10,000 Facebook Fans (amazon) (shopzilla)

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 28, 2012

Anti-aging doctor, Shira Miller, M.D., now reaches over 10,000 fans on Facebook confirming that baby boomers are looking for an alternative solution when their doctor says, “Theres nothing we can do. You’re just getting older.

“I view menopause as a chronic disease,” says Dr. Miller. “To me, it’s just like any other permanent hormone deficiency. In type 1 diabetes, when the body can no longer produce insulin, we prescribe insulin. In situations when the body can’t produce thyroid, we prescribe thyroid. But when faced with menopausea time when womens bodies stop producing both estrogen and progesteronemost doctors are prescribing antidepressants, sleeping pills, anti-anxiety agents, non-bioidentical hormones, and other drugs that don’t (or barely) address the primary problem.”

Dr. Miller recommends bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) for women in menopause, whether they are severely suffering or think they have no symptoms at all. In order to achieve optimal health, she believes BHRT should be prescribed in a way that mimics how estrogen and progesterone are produced in healthy reproductive women. Estrogen and progesterone are usually only associated with reproduction, but there are estrogen and progesterone receptors all over the entire body and their functions extend far beyond pregnancy, explains Dr. Shira Miller.

Dr. Miller runs a concierge medical practice and doesnt take insurance. This allows her to provide highly personalized, convenient, and comprehensive care to her patients (initial consultations can last as long as four hours). She also makes time to keep up with current medical research and educate the public at large through her “How to Have a Luxurious Menopause” workshops and social media.

That women go through’ menopause is one myth that Dr. Miller debunks. “No woman goes through menopause,” she says, “rather, it is a condition a woman goes into. More specifically, menopause is a state of estrogen (estradiol) and progesterone deficiency. It’s permanent. Contrary to conventional wisdom, menopause is not a phase that a woman passes, ‘gets over’ or ‘goes through, whether she suffers from hot flashes or not.” Dr. Miller teaches that, “Theres really no such thing as ‘postmenopause.’ When women gain this knowledge, their menopause paradigm changes, treatment options unfold, and they feel empowered instead of helpless.”

In both men and women, signs and symptoms of sex hormone deficiency may include weight gain, depression, anxiety, insomnia, muscle atrophy and weakness, joint aches, fatigue, low libido, reduced sexual function, osteoporosis, hot flashes, lack of vitality or motivation, brain fog, reduced efficiency or productivity at work, and relationship strain.

By using an integrative approach that includes optimizing nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, Dr. Miller is able to optimize her patients health and educate her fans. “One of the most important things to remember is that one’s actual long-term health and happiness is the goal; not just hiding symptoms,” she says. “There’s a difference between not having a disease and being in optimal health.

Bel Marra Health supports a recent study that shows there might actually be some benefits associated with early menopause (amazon) (shopzilla)

Toronto, ON (PRWEB) December 08, 2012

Bel Marra Health, well known for offering high-quality, specially formulated vitamins and nutritional supplements, supports a recent study that shows there might actually be some benefits associated with early menopause.

According to the recent medical report, entering menopause at an earlier age increases the chances of experiencing a milder form of rheumatoid arthritis. It should be understood that rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory condition that involves the joints of the knees, elbow, toes, and fingers. The incidence of this rheumatoid arthritis has been earlier reported to be higher among women, possibly due to the hormones that are produced in the female body.

It has been theorized that a change in the levels of female hormones allows the development of rheumatoid arthritis, with earlier reports showing that pregnant women are the least likely individuals to develop this joint disorders because they produce high levels of reproductive hormones during pregnancy.

The study examined approximately 134 women who had entered menopause at various ages. These women were screened in terms of the occurrence of rheumatoid arthritis, as well as other medical and behavioral conditions, including levels of hormones. The study showed that approximately 72% of the women were diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, with varying degrees of severity. However, the women who were diagnosed with a milder form of the inflammatory disease were found to have entered menopause at an earlier age, as compared to women with more severe forms of rheumatoid arthritis.

Based on the severity of their rheumatoid arthritis, different types of treatment were thus prescribed for the study participants. Those with more severe rheumatoid arthritis were given strong medication, whereas women with mild rheumatoid arthritis were prescribed milder drugs. More importantly, the women who underwent early menopause showed a better quality of life, based on the pain and stiffness that they experience with the mild form of rheumatoid arthritis.

Spokesperson for Bel Marra Health Dr. Victor Marchione says, This recent medical report is very interesting because it allows the readers to understand that certain other factors may influence the severity of a specific medical condition, such as rheumatoid arthritis. In this case, entering early menopause and the cessation of the production of reproductive hormones appears to be not so scary anymore, especially when one considers that this change in life increases the chances of experiencing a milder form of arthritis.

CEO of Bel Marra Health Jim Chiang continues, This report also indirectly shows that artificial anti-aging products may not be so helpful to women, especially when early menopause provides some form of benefit.
