    A newly published study by the School of Medicine, Adelaide University, Adelaide, Australia, suggests inflammatory markers, more specifically, the marker PAI-1 is associated with remitted depression but not with the symptom of anxiety in the older population.       A new study by the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, suggests that supplementation of Omega-3 fatty acids has resulted in a protective application against a particular toxin, commonly associated with age-related retina functional losses.       Since retina has the highest concentration of DHA Omega-3 fatty acids, many studies such as the University of Alberta study have sought to evaluate if its dietary intervention could improve or delay the onset and/or the progression of retina diseases.
